Inaugurates the pilot installation of photovoltaic shelters in the National Park of Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise
In May 2023, Pradella Sistemi srl completed a pilot installation of two multifunctional shelters in the National Park of Abruzzo, Lazio, and Molise, marking an important step forward in sustainable light electric mobility.
These shelters, powered exclusively by photovoltaic energy thanks to solar crystals integrated into the roofing, offer 10 stalls for e-bike charging, a wallbox for electric cars, and a cabinet for an external semi-automatic defibrillator (AED).
The project perfectly aligned with the criteria of the "PARCHI PER IL CLIMA" initiative: a sustainability model for national parks.
One of the most significant examples of Pradella Sistemi’s contribution to sustainable mobility is indeed the "PARCHI PER IL CLIMA" project, implemented in the National Park of Abruzzo, Lazio, and Molise. Here, 200 e-bike charging points have been installed, promoting cycle tourism and providing visitors with an eco-friendly way to explore the natural beauty of the area.
This initiative not only helps reduce CO₂ emissions but also stimulates the local economy by creating new opportunities for tourism and commercial activities related to electric mobility. The project represents a replicable model for other protected areas and cities looking to integrate smart and green solutions.
The solution is completely stand-alone, requiring no connection to the electrical grid and guaranteeing energy autonomy, respecting the environment and enhancing the natural context of the park.
The shelters are also equipped with remote control systems for predictive maintenance and energy monitoring.
This initiative enabled the Abruzzo Park to win the prestigious Innovation Award at SMAU Milan 2023, recognizing the technological and environmental value of the project.
